Adventures on Pepi's Island app for iPhone and iPad

The child Player and parent play this game-based curriculum together. The Player advances through four Adventures, each in a unique setting on an imaginary island, and each hosted by a Guide who teaches important social-emotional skills. The Player answers questions about real social situations and earns points, treasure, and badges as he or she progresses through the game. Each virtual Adventure matches a key social-emotional domain:

• Emotions in Self and Others: CAMP INSIGHT
• Social Communication and Making Friends: BEHAVIORLAND
• Perspective-Taking and Empathy: POINT-OF-VIEW PARK
• Social Problem-Solving: STOP AND THINK FARM

The app promotes bonding as the child and parent discuss important social topics.

Up to four players can use the app with individualized scoring.

Tablet sound should be turned on to benefit from multi-media content.
